The doctor blade is core part for paper machine, it’s used to cleaning the surface of rolls and dryer cylinders.

Function of Doctor Blade

1. Clean the roller surface

Scrape off the paper scrapes, dust, resin, adhesive, calcified hard scale, and sediment on the surface of the dryer, calender roll, size press roll, and press roll to keep the roll surface clean.

2. Stabilize paper web  and reduce paper breakage

The roll surface is free of dirt and protrusions, and the paper web fits evenly, reducing wrinkles, holes, scratches, and paper breakage, and improving production stability.

3. Protection roll and dryer cylinder

Reasonably scrape off the scale to avoid long-term wear and corrosion of the roll surface; Paired with a soft doctor blade, it can prevent damage to chrome plating, rubber rollers, and mirror rollers.

4. Improve paper quality

Eliminate dirt, scratches, and defects on the paper surface, and improve the flatness and appearance quality of the paper.

Application: Low temperature, light scale, forming section, ordinary press roll

Epoxy Resin Doctor Blade
