Doctor Blade Holder

The doctor blade holder is the core support device for fixing, clamping, pressing, and positioning the doctor blade. It determines the uniformity of the doctor blade and the roll and cylinder surface, the stability of the line pressure, the scraping effect, and the protection of the roll surface. It is a key cleaning component for the forming, pressing, drying, sizing, and calendering parts of the paper machine.

Structure of Doctor Blade Holder

1. Blade holder body: High strength steel (Q235/Q345) welded/profiled to ensure bending rigidity, full width flatness (deflection ≤ 0.1mm/m), and prevent high-speed vibration deformation.

2. Blade clamping mechanism (blade clamp/pressure plate): upper pressure plate, lower cushion strip, locking bolt/quick clamp, clamp scraper blade, control extension (1.0-1.5mm), ensure blade straightness.

3. Pressurization/Loading System: Provides line pressure (0.05-0.3MPa), mainly including airbag type (DST), cylinder type, self weight type, and spring type.

4. Swing/lift mechanism: motor+cam/cylinder, realizing the reciprocating swing of the scraper (5-15 times/min) or rapid lifting/dropping of the blade, protecting the roller surface and extending the blade life.

5. Angle adjustment/positioning mechanism: Adjust the contact angle of the scraper (15 ° -30 °, commonly used for drying cylinders 25 ° -30 °) to adapt to different roller surfaces and blade materials.
