Paper Machine Air Bellow

The air bellow is equivalent to the flexible muscle and buffer pad of the paper machine. The felt and wire corrector needs to be corrected by the air bellow, the tensioner needs to be tightened by the air bellow, and the press section needs to be compressed and isolated by the air bellow.

Application of Paper Machine Air Bellow

1. Felt and Wire Corrector (Dedicated for Correction)

Position: Installed at the execution end of the felt and fabric corrector, replacing the cylinder;

Function: Sensor detection of deviation → rapid expansion and contraction of airbag → pushing the correction roller to swing → correcting the deviation of the paper machine clothing;

Advantages: Flexible thrust, fast response, no damage to roller bearings, and resistance to water vapor and dust.

2. Felt and Wire Tensioner (Tension Control)

Position: Installed on the sliding seat of the tension roll to provide constant tension;

Function: Automatic compensation felt and fabric elongation/thermal expansion/contraction, anti slip, wrinkling, and belt breakage;

Advantages: Adjustable air pressure (0.4-0.6MPa), suitable for different paper machine speed.

3. Press Section (Pressurization + Vibration Isolation)

Position: Press roll/shoe press roll pressure and balance, adjustable air pressure to control the pressure in the pressure zone;

Function: Absorb squeezing vibration, prevent roll’s jumping, reduce paper breakage, and protect the frame.

4. Equipment Isolation and Leveling

Position: Vibration isolation for heavy equipment bases such as dryer cylinders, motors, and vacuum pumps;

Reduce vibration transmission, ensure stable operation, reduce noise, and extend lifespan.
